So as “tourists” they flew 2,550km, staying for 2 days to see nothing. Travelled 126km to spend under an hour to look at a cathedral they didn’t visit, flying back 2,550km the same day. And the attack on a former Russian spy in Sailsbury by Russian made weapons is coincidence?pic.twitter.com/slZDN9lX5k

Maybe they did attend a service at the cathedral and thought they heard the Bishop say "let us spray"!

They fancied a weekend brass-rubbing in the Cathedral and a look a Ted Heath's old house. So they popped over from Russia. Anything else is purely coincidental. What's not credible about that?

Why didn't they just go to Winchester. Our Cathedral's way better.

Good heavens what a suspicious bunch we are. Hasn’t anyone else here popped over to Moscow to briefly visit St Basil’s or the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow for 30 minutes.

23 days to walk it sounds good! I never realised Russia was that close. I wonder how many miles a day that is?

I hope not. Traffic is bad enough in Salisbury as it is.

I lived there in Salisbury for 20 years.. been in the cathedral twice. Not sure I'd fly in from Russia to do it. Can't understand why they didn't visit the Wardrobe, Durrington Walls or Woodhenge whilst they were there..

I think they may have been advised by Jeremy Corbyn's media advisor on how to feign ignorance in being somewhere but not being involved in a major incident!
