That's due to Tory austerity. It has sweet FA to do with Brexit. However, if we do brexit ( and I pray it doesn't happen) more councils will go bust, for sure.

Our Council decided it was a good idea to freeze Council tax while getting much less from central Government.

My council did for years the Labour got last election 6% rise that's the most they could raise it to and they did. Working poor pay price

Yes and I would like Council tax reform. But Somerset is facing cutting support to young carers. It's desperate.

I think it was tried once look where that ended. Governments are scared to go there. Means testing should extend to more working people
