Absolutely correct. The police no longer has the backs of normal people & they are losing the public trust as a result. This will have devastating consequences for our society.

Not interested in burglaries, seemingly impotent against knife crime & serious gang violence. They have become like the Stasi for SJW’s.They are only visible either on Twitter threatening people for thought crime or hiding in a van with a speed gun or dancing in gay pride event.
-
Plus ‘believe the victim’ has seemingly brought them to a new low of investigation competence where getting more prosecution notches is more important than establishing the truth. As a result the innocent have been prosecuted with no evidence and failures of disclosure are rife

I would also suggest that you and I are not members of any ethnic minority, so we can’t conceive of the depth of hurt or injury hate crimes can cause. So the seriousness with which police take them is reassuring in stemming a build up in hatred and any consequent violence.
-
So only ethnic minority people can be victims of hate crimes?
-
I take your point. Indeed, the biggest rise recorded in 2017 in hate crime was in regard disability and transgender hate crimes, suggesting that the visible police presence at LGBT events is indeed warranted. (Pun not intended.)

Absolutely and get rid of these Police and Crime commissioners who add no value. NAO talked about inadequate funding for police but in the same token, resources are wasted on virtue signalling. FFS investigate true crime with no exceptions for any part of the UK society.

Julia - thought you did a great job yesterday. Hats off. The police are becoming increasingly pathetic as they are now dictated to by the PC brigade. Happening everywhere but when it influences police behaviour it has gone way too far.

Totally spot on. If the police actually concentrated on their jobs of solving actual crime rather than virtue signalling then we just might have a safer country to live it. This PC bullshit has to end.

My brother had an argument with a Pakistan neighbour who was threatening & abusive. My brother called the police. Nothing. same night his car was torched. Called the police. Nothing. They wouldn’t even view the CCTV footage for any evidence because it was racially sensitive.

What a pile of American radio phone-in rhetoric. That people take anything you say seriously and as heartfelt is a sad state of affairs
