I’ve written this for today’s Mail on Sunday: Making misogyny a hate crime is sinister and absurdhttps://dailym.ai/2CCOjvG

Why don't you just opt out of all the basic rights and benefits that feminists have fought for and won Julia?

And why would I want to do that? I am a proud feminist myself.

I guess this is a brilliant example of why it is so very important to define our feminism. I really don't relate to yours.

My feminism doesn’t paint every man as a threat and every woman as a victim in waiting. It’s how most British women live their lives.

Think we need a new definition of 'feminist' Equal, isn't enough!

When a lot of what feminism is about these days amounts to supremacy "equality" should be moved to another more balanced movement that comes from a perspective of people, not women or men.

Do I need to use a specific pronoun when I refer to you? Apache ?

It’s great when men recognise women’s inequality, too. It’s even better when they do something about it. London’s domestic violence epidemic and 23 % pay gap are a good place to start. Fixing that would be something for a “proud feminist” to be proud of.

Proud feminist, yet you seem happy to be represented by some really dull misogynists on Twitter. Exactly how do you define your feminism?
