It doesn’t matter what you call it. What matters is that you respect the result, whether you win or not. #lessonsindemocracy https://twitter.com/IanDunt/status/1036619760878985217 …

But that's not what either the UK or the EU are pursuing. The only way the people can reject chequers is via a
#PeoplesVote. You think that vote should include No Deal. I think it should include remaining in the EU. So, as I suggested last time I was in the studio...Three-way?
-
No, that’s not the only way to dump Chequers. If there were ever to be a THIRD referendum, it wouldn’t need Remain as an option as that’s already been rejected by a majority of voters
-
Labour was also rejected at the last general election. Do we no longer let them on the ballot paper? One of the most fundamental parts of our unwritten constitution is that "No parliament may bind its successors". As representatives of the people, the same must apply to referenda

So who will we trade with?
-
People/companies/countries who want to sell us stuff and buy our stuff. So, pretty much what we do now...
-
So when we become competitor to the biggest trading bloc in the world rather than being in on the already highly lucrative frictionless TD’s in place, what will attract investment and trade to us when we are suddenly very small and will have a ton of new red tape? Just asking?
-
Oddly enough, these Brexitwats always go quiet when these questions are out to them.

No one would be perfectly happy under no deal, not any person anywhere. The consequences are almost beyond comprehension.

No deal at all, not even on airports and aeroplanes, or licensing, or medicines, or vehicle operator licensing? None? No FTAs with anyone anywhere?
-
No deal gets my vote and I voted remain.
-
As in no rights for any Eu citizens here or for UK citizens in EU?
-
The result was to leave. For me that means the whole lot. That's why I voted remain, so yes.
-
May be what you thought. I’m guessing no more than 10-20% wanted no deal when they voted. Fed not 52% I’d be happy if we could partition the country and let leavers have no deal apocalypse and the remainers just stay in.
-
Tough, they should have what they voted for. Lessons are hard learnt by some.
-
True, the people should get what the people deserve.

But how can you oppose chequers? Leavers must support all versions of leave over remain or by definition they would not hold a majority with such a close vote? Chequers is in line with the referendum.

You didn’t respect the Agoda result, you searched for information.

Another right-wing talking head who can weather the economic storm? How quaint.

Julia, can you please clarify something for me? When you say “no deal at all” do you mean “leaving the EU with no Withdrawal Agreement in place”?
