Your tweet is petty and unhelpful. You have no knowledge of other circumstances that may be at play. Your "desperate" mum would have done well to take you to kindness classes to encourage you to cut out the bile and gratuitous sniping that you are so fond of #professionalsnark

Kindness is making sure your child is healthy, can lead a normal active life and doesn’t die 20 years sooner than he should. That sort of kindness?
-
Again, you don't know full circumstances behind this story & can't really make a credible statement concerning it. The kindness that I suspect may be most useful to you would be simply cutting out the snark & focusing on your own life. Before you drown in gallons of your own bile

If you read the article, you would see that he “binges on crisps and chocolate he steals out of the kitchen cupboard”. Here’s an idea, why doesn’t mum stop buying crap and spend the money on fruit and veggies instead?
-
Or put a lock on the cupboard so she can control what he has from it and when he has it...

He’d be eating grass, berries and perhaps a rat/mouse if he was able to catch one...

Im fat and i know why. But as a mum to 4 kids none of them were ever over weight and still aren't as they live at home, play sport etc and although old enough to but themselves rubbish to eat, still have healthy food

Good for you!

How do you know it's 100% her fault? Just from the headlines?
-
I’ve read the full article. It helps to use facts.
-
You found facts in a newspaper article? Wow

My 11 year boys eat crap at any chance and play on Xbox with their friends but they play and love sport. They play for their town and we have signed them up to an academy so 2 nights a week they have training with a game on Saturdays. I’ve told them if they stop sport then no xbox
-
Fair play!

I’ll side with you on that one mate. A tad of discipline doesn’t harm anyone. As a kid I had to earn privileges. Washing up, and get your homework done etc. -
Yes me too.
