It’s a garment which dehumanises people and hides their faces, it’s a cultural not a religious thing, and he’s being called a racist / islamophobe. Also, if I said women in really short skirts looked like they were prostitutes, I’d be considered crass, not accuses of racism.

Julia's post didn't mention racism nor did I. Also, remember that for most it's out of choice with a minority where it is imposed upon plus you're giving your opinion on the matter as are those who are offended.

Offence is free that's why so much is taken. Understand this, nobody has any right to experience life without the possibility of offence. Burkas offend me, Hal al slaughter houses offend me, fgm offends me, blowing people up offends me most. The sheer hypocrisy is astonishing
