Two points, The garment is not part of any religion and either way nothing in the law prohibits or restricts discussion, criticism or expressions of antipathy, dislike, ridicule, insult or abuse of any religion. Simple as that!https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1027812094668951553?s=19 …

About time!Stop fgm. Stop misogyny. Stop hiding behind interpretation. It's more to do with being a 'Victim' than religion. OR just plain provocation. When deciding to wear the full face veil you know it's not welcomed in Europe & other countries too. It's not worn indoors

It was too cringe worthy. Sad to see so much opportunistic band wagoning. Well done for calling it out.

Lib Dem message. Don't say anything at all in case it offends someone. Just about sums the movement up. They don't live in the real world.

Vince should tell us at what number of offended people the apology threshold is We know it’s more than 5 but this needs clarification

-
The next time someone says I’m offended, you can say, hang on a minute, you’re not enough ppl to be offended, go & find at least another 4 ppl, because otherwise according to Vince that’s how this works.

Question you should have asked was - some people may be offended by having to speak with someone wearing a full face covering. If they reported this offence should the wearer apologise to the person they have offended? - doubtful you would have received a reply
-
That’s a very good point. I dread the day I have to serve someone wearing a full face cover. It’s so threatening and hostile.
