So, to summarise: Poor people voted for Brexit to make themselves poorer. That’s because they’re thick. Rich people voted for Brexit to make themselves richer. That’s because they’re psychopaths. Is everyone keeping up with Mitch’s argument?https://twitter.com/MitchBenn/status/1027650782420758532 …

    Mitch Benn  🇬🇧 🇪🇺Verified account @MitchBenn
Actually that’s fair enough; there are a lot of wealthy and successful people who are pro-Brexit, as they’ve determined it will make them MORE wealthy and successful while the rest of us queue outside the empty foodbanks. So no, you’re right, they’re not idiots. Just psychopaths. https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1027614867287629824 …

Funny that because remainers say we are all going to be poor with no food. Do wish remainers would make up their minds. Leave voters on the other hand made up their minds 2016 and we have not changed !

Substitute “sufficient numbers of poor people voted for Brexit because they were lied to by corrupt, venal financially insulated rich people” and you’ll have it spot on Julia.

I'm not rich I wasn't lied to. I voted to stay in 76 for trade only I voted leave and after I watched the EU become a dictatorship not asking us but telling what we can and can't do that's not what I voted for in the 70s

With respect Carol, we were ALL lied to. You clearly had your considered reasons to vote Leave and that's fair enough. Sufficient others did so on the basis of the falsehoods/distortions they were peddled by liars of many persuasions to make the difference, which was my point.pic.twitter.com/zaS2NEoEW1

Why is it that it's only Leave voters who were lied to? The entire Remain campaign was based on lies.

Check wiki. He went to a private boarding school and now is a "comedian" on the dire Radio 4 "Now Show" to top up his inherited wealth.

Julia. Much of Brexit is about sugar and avoiding tax on hidden wealth. Mitch makes a perfectly valid point. Shame you don’t get it.
