Mitch I run a million-pound (though not multi-million) business and I support Brexit because I worry about the EU's inflexibility and inability to reform. Their behaviour in the so-called negotiations has cemented my view.

What behaviour has offended you?
-
I think the lack of introspection at the need to create more flexibility and accommodate different needs within the EU. Diversity would make it stronger in my view. Sadly with the euro they need less diversity and more conformity to make it work. Which is the problem, IMHO.
-
Fair enough. Valid points.
-
There are some (reluctant) 'Brexiteers' who genuinely want the best for the EU and worry about its long-term future. I am one of them.
-
Genuine confusion though - how do you propose to encourage and help shape change for the better if you leave the table? How does not having a say any more benefit anyone?
-
We had no influence at the table. Cameron tried to exert his influence and failed miserably. That's why we're leaving. We have already tried.
-
Cameron came away with most of what he asked for.We had one of the best set ups with regards the EU out of all the member states.

Julia. I am a management consultant and used to run a large international engineering business. I have around 300 CEOs in my phone book. I am struggling to think of any who think Brexit is a good idea. Oh and I have seen Mitch at the fringe for the last 4 years.

WTO would be a Bonanza for UK, more painful for EU. Those members who want our trade will be queuing for a bi-lateral agreement by March, 2019 Germany front of the line?
-
We are not even members of WTO and our application has been opposed already
-
And if we do end up with WTO at what point do the brexity people realise that we will be subject to the rules of an unelected unaccountable bureaucracy? Unless, of course they can tell us how the WTO bureaucrats are elected
-
You are IGNORANT of civic studies and political geography. WTO TRADE body! Has been so 4 many years! EU BEGAN as Trade Body, then morphed into 28 and increasing POLITICAL FEDERATION of unique Independent Nation States, NO NO and NO! Control from Brussels only, NO!
-
No idea what this says

-
What u don't understand English? U asked if WTO get elected? No and rightly. EU should have stuck 2 just the original six countries doing TRADE but they had masterplan, mission to centralize and control countries/nation states hence 3 layers of EU Govt arrived by coercive means!
-
You mean they're unelected bureaucrats?
-
Yes by forming one massive Federation politburoy where 3rd tier EUParliament elections are just paper and rubber stamping exercises!
