What does the future hold staying inthe EU ?
-
Whatever it is, would still be in control of our future. We had vetos on treaty changes and an influential say on all those things we will now have to follow on - either us or EU. That’s the reality. Less influence, less control and less trade. That is all Brexit is.
-
Less trade whilst being free to trade with the rest of the world + the EU ? that desperately need our trade , can the spanish Greeks and Portuguese lose our holiday trade , the Germans our car trade etc
-
Yes they can. They don’t want to but they can as they would lose far far more if SM undermined. We can already trade with the rest of the world and do successfully. Brexit undermines that. It makes her trade harder. It hurts the things you ask for. A no deal crash is insane.
-
What is wrong with trading independently with the row , instead of paying billions for the Eu to do the deal for us
-
Of course we can; but it would be on worse terms (size matters in trade negotiations). It’ll also take years to set up while our competitors plough ahead. And we trade with rest of world anyway. EU not holding us back. Brexit would. It hinders not helps. And that’s before SM!
-
But why should we pay billions more than other Eu countries for the same deal ?

We had a People's vote in June 2016, Gabby. FYI the result of the
#EURef was to#Leave the#EU. PM@theresa_may confirmed this in her Lancaster House speech, ratified in both the@UKLabour &@Conservatives Party manifestos. EU (Withdrawal) Bill received Royal Assent in June! -

Pretty sure you offered zero facts and zero clarity. At least
@GabbyLogan is advocating for a sensible debate and clarification of what Brexit will mean for her and her children. Rather than for something that the consequences of are becoming less and less appealing by the day. -
The choice that Parliament would have is to accept the deal or decide to exit without a deal. They could not change the deal or vote to remain. It is critical that the EU realise that they have one chance, then we leave, deal or no deal. We cannot waste more time on remoaners.
-
I think it’s critical *we* understand the true consequences of a no deal. So I don’t the EU are too concerned about us walking away with no deal. We chose to shit the bed - why would they help clean it up.
-
Yes lets listen to the same pre referendum experts shall we? You know the ones that warned of 600-800k job losses just on the Vote to leave and a 6% contraction in the economy. You lost Soy boy, suck it up...or move to one of the EU27 , why i hear its a Utopian dream...

He's been raised on the EU tit. Not ready for solid food yet.

I find your remark humorous, in the style of Boris.

What would be so bad about having a people’s vote? What are Leavers so afraid of?
-
Project Fear is in full swing along with a Remainer Govt doing it's best to screw up negotiations to ensure Brexit is reversed. We are afraid the govt and the EU is contriving to get the democratic vote overturned. They will never let us leave the EU. Brexit won't be permitted.
