What is wrong with you? He clearly isn't advocating zero pain-relief, but expressing his pride in his partner and child.

Yes he is. Look at the hashtag!
-
He’s supporting something that worked for them and the problem with that is?
-
I don’t have a problem with it. I just think it’s a weird thing to be proud of.
-
What having a happy, healthy and successful birth? Yeah really weird. Why not find the nice things in life...?

That’s not what he specifically said he was proud of
-
But we as parents can be proud of our child for achieving something another child might not be able to are we no longer able to be proud

Come on, Julia. You know it’s different for men. We frequently injure ourselves doing DIY and stuff. And never complain, not ever.
-
Or when you have a cold... sorry, flu.
-
You mean man-flu, which we don’t expect you to understand, having only experienced childbirth.

Just because you can have pain relief doesn’t mean you should. It’s choice. And I do admire people that give birth without pain relief. And by the way giving birth is natural. Heart surgery isn’t!
-
Why do you admire them?
-
Because I just think in a world where we take drugs so readily for anything (and I'm really bad at that for any pain or twinge) it's nice to see natural child birth being exactly that....after all it's all geographical...some people give birth in the bush and carry on working.

Well good for her, but not everyone can and as long as the baby is fine, who cares how they arrived!
-
Not everyone can? Why would anyone want to?
-
I certainly didn't with my 4, I would have welcomed a sledgehammer!!

Oh my god! This from the lady that tells everyone else what a wimp they are!!Interesting when the roles are reversed! Please remember this next time you criticise someone...I think that will be soon so hopefully you’ll remember!
-
Also what happened to just congratulating someone! HK is a kind, loyal, focused, very hard working, great role model...while....
-
He brought it up, not me!
-
true but he wasn’t criticising those that use pain relief. Do I dare say you just might be being sensitive

-
I think
@JuliaHB1 is a sad case, paranoid, touchy, and full of shit.
