This is a totally genuine and honest question: if you don’t want to be judged on your appearance as a woman, why do you choose to wear a headscarf but then also choose to wear make-up? Are we not all - men and women - judged in part on our appearance?
If you knew me you’d know I barely wear any, mainly coz I can’t be bothered. I wear what I do in order to look presentable and feel good about myself. Again- who is anyone to question what I do and don’t wear on MY person?! I need not justify it to ANYONE and THAT is the point.
