And sigh @JuliaHB1 missing the point of choice yet again. I don’t wear one and it’s caused me exactly zero problems but ofc my ordinary British Muslim ass doesn’t count when you want to make inflammatory comments.

I’m not missing the point of choice at all. How would you feel about someone choosing to wear a KKK white hood or a swastika on a T-shirt? We all have limits to our choice of dress. Face coverings should be one of those limits.

Wearing a niqab isn't a person displaying an outright hatred for another group of people. That's a terrible false equivalence.

I’m pointing out that we aren’t all free to wear what we want. There are already limitations.

It's true, not everything we wear is socially acceptable. What you do not explain is why you believe a niqab ought to fall into that category while, say, a hoodie, or sunglasses, or a thick scarf does not.

Your argument is ridiculous. The limitations are based on whether or not it is a symbol of hatred. Swastika and KKK hood are. A burka is clearly not. This shit isn't really that difficult unless you are a massive racist twat.

You chose to do it in a way that suggested the sight of a woman in a Niqab, which she may well have chosen to wear, disgusts you in the same way as Nazis or racists proudly displaying their colours.

How do you mean? People are allowed to wear hoods and swastikas in America. They do it in parades. As far as I know, with restrictions on nudity, we are free to wear what we want.
