So you'd be happy if the Government decided one day that you had to move from where you'd lived for decades, and had to ask them for permssion to carry on working in your job?https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1025076760977788929 …

You would have a right, as a European citIzen to be active in the politics of the community you lived in,, Those decsions affect you and the comunity you live in. EU citizens in UK can vote in local and European elections - a recognition (until 2016) that we're all in it together

You do know that was a poll of only 1400 people

-
So statistically speaking, subject to an error of 2 to 3%
-
Oh god. Do what you want with the figures, but there is only one set of statistics that counts.

Using EU citizens as a bargaining chip is simply disgusting. The phrases like ‘we will try to guarantee their rights’, ‘but nothing is agreed until everything is agreed’ means these people through no fault of their own do not know where they stand.
-
Fake news: the UK has already offered EU citizens in the UK ‘settled status’ whereas the Guy Verhofstadt, the EU Parliament’s negotiator, is prevaricating over plans for Brits to be offered “associate citizenship” i.e. the EU not the UK are using citizens as a bargaining chip
-
you just said ‘offered’, not ‘promised’ thanks for confirmation of the point, with the second point being ‘nothing is agreed until everything is agreed’ still open. Of course you’ve also read the Express story of Germany preparing to give British citizens in Germany citizenship
-
Thank you - good old Germany, we just need the EU to unite around them now. After all we wouldn’t want the EU to renege on UK citizens currently living in Europe would we - using them as a bargaining chip. My UK friends living in Mallorca would be most disappointed

I lived in Germany for 7yrs in the 80's, I didn't even get a vote in the UK Elections. Did not get a vote in the German ones either. They are sulking like kids.
