So, just to clarify, no one is forcing this family to leave the UK or even suggesting they should leave. But it’s all the fault of Brexit and Leave voters. Uh huh. Sounds like this guy is the one having the tantrum.https://twitter.com/RemainiacsCast/status/1025073234935533568 …

    Julia Hartley-Brewer added,

    Remainiacs Podcast @RemainiacsCast
More valuable people lost because of the Brexit tantrum. “It is not easy to stay calm and rational when faced with the visceral, self-aggrandising, jingoistic drivel that flows endlessly from some in the leave camp.” https://www.theguardian.com/global/2018/aug/02/auf-wedersehen-britain-brexit-forcing-my-german-family-leave-home …

What hatred? What bile? Where have I ever suggested I hold such views about black people or “brown” people or use such abusive language? Can you point to a single example of such bigotry on my part? No. Because I don’t hold or promote those views. But you *definitely* seem nice.

All FBPEs are totally nuts, they don't care if they cause this country to crash & burn by denying the largest democratic mandate in our history, and causing a complete breakdown in trust in our political institutions followed by economic meltdown as long as we stay in the EU.

So just to clarify Julia, perhaps you'd give us one of your no-nonsense, straight talking answers on whether you think "no deal" it it happens, would be benign for EU nationals in the UK and UK citizens currently residing in the EU?

Still waiting in the EU to say the same. The EU is to blame for any confusion over citizens rights.

Maybe an article written by one of the net 100k EU citizens who moved TO THE U.K. in the last year would provide some balance, rather than only focusing on the lower numbers leaving.
