So basically, the Brexiteers new line, as perfectly summed up by @JuliaHB1, can now be summarised as follows: a) If there is No Deal, there will be no catastrophe. It's all Project Fear 2. b) But if there is a catastrophe it's not our fault, it's everyone else's fault.

Had the country united around the decision to Leave, we could have done so without angst and an excellent deal. There's still a chance of a reasonable deal, but May must be replaced by a Brexiteer. As for the 5th column: Let them do their worst, we will do our best (Churchill).

Yes John. All should have accepted the ref. Result and backed it. Again to quote Churchill when D day preparations were being argued, he said “Don’t argue the matter, the difficulties will argue for themselves.” We need his leadership now.

Every single brexit peddling person has either failed to provide a detailed plan as to what brexit looks like and how they'll get there, or has run away blaming everyone else. How about the people who peddled this catastrophe hold their hands up and admit they were wrong.

I voted to leave the EU because a Russian told me to - she came to the door one night showed me her Brexits and from that moment I was sold on Brexit.

Can any Brexiteer pushing the WTO option name one single country who trades solely on their rules? Should be a stock question to Paterson et al every time they suggest we will all be fine.

Control of our own borders? Control of our own laws? Freedom to trade with countries outside of the EU? I’m curious, if you’re so enamoured with living under the boot-heel of the collapsing EU, why not move to a country still in the EU?
