One positive aspect of Brexit is that we've really found out who our friends are. We should remember those who are and those who aren't.

Perhaps ask Martin Selmayr, his family have an extensive record of military activity in other countries although usually uninvited

We should only help friends. @campaignforleo has made plain that he doesn't want Ireland to be a friend of UK. Hasn't offered us that £3.2Bn we gave Ireland during financial crisis, though.

Let’s take this slowly. Not all things up in the blue thing above you are the same. Some are commercial. Some are not.

You mean they should have their cake and eat, I see. Got it...

Oh man... didnt you find any better stock answer in your brexit platitudes list?

Indeed. This illustrates precisely why a No Deal Brexit, with the UK's membership of EU regulatory agencies (such as EASA) lapsing with nothing to fill the gap, would be catastrophic, and must therefore be avoided by all sane members of homo sapiens.
-
UK is not leaving EASA. It will contract into it, as per Norway, Switzerland etc. The only difference from now will be UK not on the steering committee, which not really an issue as the German LBA is dominant.
-
That "contracting in" requires agreement between the parties, aka a deal. "No Deal" literally means all current arrangements are terminated, with nothing replacing them. Therefore on "No Deal", the UK has left EASA and planes won't fly. A "partial deal" is another matter.
-
I am advised the contract has already been signed. Countries such as Macedonia have the same arrangement with no issues.
-
This would be great news. Now we merely need to cover the vast array of other problems affecting regulation and trade between the UK & EU, all threatened by the spectre of "No Deal" (in many cases also threatened by an FTA), and we can all have a nice life.
-
Over to HM Government for that one.

My confidence in our political class has never been lower :-(
