I just realised....she thinks the definition of racism is mentioning someone's race. How do these people get national platforms?

You think celebrating the fact that the team is diverse is "racist". Who am I being racist towards? You?
I'm not the ridiculous person here. -
I’m muting you now. You’re just talking nonsense.
-
More than happy to be ignored by your nonsensical tweets
-
I imagine you’re well used to being ignored.

As a football fan, I never once looked at skin colour or ethnicity during the World Cup. I just wanted the best players playing. Rashford should have played more than Sterling. Loftus-Cheek should have been given more of a chance too.
-
Good, but there are many who do, and it affects players you know? https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/raheem-sterling-england-it-was-all-a-dream …

I think that you'll find that football supporters today (certainly at matches I've attended) are brilliant. I think you're looking for something that isn't there anymore. Sadly a whole industry has been created, so the agenda to perpetuate it is necessary to pay their wages.

I’m sick of the word diversity They now put it into everything as they think it’ll give them some sjw brownie points
-
With you in this
@finnyofthenorth. It's a way of being self-congratulatory by budding sjws. One hell of a world we're now in. -
It's got to the point where the word is used on everything, just to say "hey guys, were cool, we used the word diverse to advertise our products. Like us for it and buy lots of stuff from us, suckers"
-
Exactly. It's become all so pathetic, really. It's become a simple buzz word that people feel they have to tag onto everything. It offers a certain kind of acceptability and respectability - so it is thought.

I thought his comment was ridiculous too, and assumed he was just another “unwashed numpty”, but it appears he’s actually a serious journalist. Heaven help us...
-
Well not really a serious journalist he writes for
@Independent a paper with such a poor readership it can’t even sustain a print run, no doubt his columns contributed to that result

Don’t expect to reason with a race baiter like Sunny .... any fact will be contorted to fit a rather obvious agenda
