It is - show me any deal (inc 'no deal') and I can show you a worse one by adding 'plus you get slapped in the chops' to the end. Therefore, by definition, no deal is not the worst deal. Now define a bad deal as anything worse than no deal, and we're done.

Surely we are better than this? Clearly some deals could conceivably be so bad as to be worse than no deal. But simply saying no deal is better than a bad deal as a mantra is total gibberish and those saying it clearly know it!
