I’m a full supporter of breast-feeding as the most natural and beneficial way to care for young infants. However it is not difficult to throw a blanket over the top. For the sake of modesty. A benefit for the woman and general public. It’s not an attack on women to suggest it.

The difficulty isn't in throwing the blanket over the top, it's in getting the baby to keep feeding when they've a blanket over them. You ever tried having a drink with a blanket over your head?

Well I couldn’t testify personal experience of it. However I’ve seen and know people who do this. It’s not uncommon.
