I think it’s perfectly rational Julia. How many countries have independence days? Pretty sure those who dreamed and wanted to it were pretty happy when it happened!

A Wonderful Anniversary, celebrating our near-Freedom ! Not that much has happened in 2 years, but even a snail-like crawl is better than staying inside the evil monster, known as the EU.

What I don't understand is how anyone can be happy when jobs and livelihoods are under threat, with businesses threatening to pull out and investment fall. But then, I suppose if one were to give a dog a bone, the dog will be happy, - very simple mindedness I guess? -
-
You mean like the construction industry?. It's been totally cleansed of a UK workforce in favour of cheap East European cowboys.
-
Cleansed? I would say decimated more like. Every Sunday morning at Nine Elms Market scores of East European 'chancers' buying extremely dodgy 2nd hand tools to then pass themselves off as qualified tradesman.

Imagine thinking being happy about the result of a vote is sad, but crying about it for 2 years and wasting a sunny Saturday holding up placards, waving flags and chanting when it's not going to change anything is a great way to spend your life

Biggest opportunity for the UK in my lifetime. Too bad so many in the media and the political class want it to fail miserably so they can protect their gigantic egos and say “I told you so”

I'm still a bit unhappy I vtd leave jubilance, then we got May has PM what a downer I can't believe the Party I support got rid of the best leader we have ever had in short time, and they are hanging on to the worst. Mind boggles.

They are scared Julia and want to hang onto the only reality they have known. There’s a world out there , we should embrace escape from the EU and our regained freedom. Do we need Nanny EU?

Saw it live that morning Julia, approx 4 .40 am. "That's it, we're out", to be honest I felt like king of the world at that proclamation. I love England, simply the best.

the reason why Julia has spent all day trying to put down people who don't agree with her about
#brexit and persists in calling us remoaners to try and belittle us is because deep down she knows that#brexiteers are on the back foot (as well as being wrong) & she is worried

Msm still pumping out anti-Brexit propaganda, way off beam to the way the majority voted and would STILL vote
-
Care to put that to the test...
Thought not. -
Don't need to, but yes, if it came to it I know the majority for leave would be much larger.
-
Here's my view on it: if when we have a deal, when people know exactly what they're going to be getting, if people still choose to vote leave I would 100% accept that. It would be based on facts and that would be fair enough.
-
Here's my view: if, when we know the deal and we think it's worse than what we have now, we simply walk away to WTO terms. Simple, job done!
-
You're either retired and so are now jobless or you've accrued enough wealth to weather whatever economic storm is coming our way. It's a luxury many cannot afford.
-
Neither is true. It may have passed your notice, but despite being warned of the dyer economic consequences, people still voted to come out of the pathetically bad EU. Yes, it is that important. BTW eventually we will be better off
-
Anything you can point to specifically?
