My back garden seems to have moved to the middle of Farthing Wood. A fox and her *three* foxcubs out enjoying the sunshine. I know they’re vermin but... they’re soooooo darn cute.pic.twitter.com/9CAo4Suw8L

A colleague of mine at work has foxes and her cubs visit her garden regularly. The other week she was watching them through the patio doors (closed) and the mother wandered up the garden, alighted the decking and took a huge dump on the decking. She wasn't impressed.

I think that's called eating. Foxes don't have supermarkets.

Not really. If foxes get into a chicken hut, they’ll kill all of them and may eat none. (It came as a surprise to me when I found this out. It’s not “eating”; it’s being a handsome executioner.)

Yep they just bit their heads off and leave them, happened to my brother's hens when he forgot to shut them in. They kill for killings sake, a bit like domestic cats 🐱 🦊

Well domestic cats have been sighted as one of the causes of the decline in the number of songbirds, together with the Mediterranean habit of netting them & pickling of them as a delicacy 🤮. I love cats, foxes and birds too but nature is a bitch!
