Question. Has anyone lost a friend as a result of having voted Remain? I know of lots of reverse cases, and sense that there is an overwhelming asymmetry, but I'm happy to be corrected.

Maybe - just a thought - if Leave hadn't won by epic cheating and on the back of racism (not you personally in either case I know) and then, after winning, sought some compromise with the 48% (EEA/EFTA) instead of going ultra-hard Brexit, feelings would not have been so bad.

The “Leave voters are racists - but, oh no, I don’t mean YOU” line is getting a bit tedious...

Go on twitter. Have a look. Loads of people tweeting about Brexit, Tommy Robinson and Islam, sometimes in the same tweets. Denial isn't just a river in Africa.

Some people who voted Leave are racist. Some people who voted Remain are racist. Leaving the EU has absolutely NOTHING to do with the colour of anyone’s skin.

Maybe not for you. But take a look on twitter and you'll find plenty of people who - without saying so explicitly - clearly think otherwise. Oh, and let's not forget these....pic.twitter.com/FxEI8dl9Ot

Take a look at Twitter and you’ll quickly find that a large number of people with the #FBPE hashtag post nasty vicious abuse. Does that mean all Remoaners are like that? You tell me.
