I was tweeting from the account yesterday. C Mudde was sneering at @tfbrexit claim to be 'left'. Seemed pretty rich to me coming from someone who argued for allying with Jobbik. Here's where he said it; make up your own mind whether I 'misrepresented' him.

Replying to @thephilippics @tfbrexit
Cas' argument, as he makes very clear, was that alliance with Jobbik was the only plausible means for saving Hungarian liberal democratic institutions from Orban's dominance. Your anonymous tweet grossly misrepresented what he said.

His argument was about the protection of institutions from autocratic attack. You ignored that entirely, so you could get in a cheap ad hominem shot. Really not the kind of behaviour I would expect from a serious academic, or a serious research network.

*Will Jennings, cough, Ian Warren, cough, Patrick Sturgis, cough. ad hominem sub tweets allowed but only for some. I think all petty tweeting should stop, now, but do invite me to the similar dress down Rob because I'd like to see the same standards applied across the board.

I'm a bit confused as to how you would know what Will and Patrick tweet given as you blocked both of them long ago. In my experience, Patrick at least engages with anyone he disagrees with quite directly (he's done it to me many times).
