Someone who thinks being a public servant means serving their own interests.
-
He’s resigned. How is that in his interests. If he was doing as you suggest he would stay in his ministerial job and vote for a policy he clearly thinks is wrong for the public
-
He’s resigned because he’s a cabinet minister and would have been sacked. A blemish on his record as Owen Smith found out. If he thinks it’s wrong he should resign his seat and give up his pension, he clearly isn’t up to the responsibility of delivering what the public want
-
Oh it’ll never go that far lol. His convictions don’t run that deep. He’s just showing off for his London leave mates

So Johnny & Nick, even a brexiter journalist admits that Brexit is in Russia's interests & helps them destabilise the west... But I'll bet you didn't even pause for breath when you read this did you? What a strange kind of patriotismpic.twitter.com/c0Vqvtn20C

If Russia has an axe to grind with the EU, I couldn’t care less. The EU is an unelected rich man’s club and is reaping what it has sowed.
-
You know what’s hilarious? This idea that the UK couldn’t survive without the EU. I think everyone will find us doing rather well rather quickly, while the EU will be greatly diminished and moving even quicker towards an inevitable implosion
-
Exactly as suspected - directly supporting the agenda of a foreign power and giggling to yourselves as you do so. Remarkable.

Someone following Winston Churchill's advice? "The first duty of an MP is to do what he [or she] thinks … is right and necessary for the honour and safety of Great Britain. His second duty is to his constituents, of whom he is the representative but not the delegate.”

He is not being as honourable as his attempts to dress up his resignation suggests. He is betraying his constituents who voted for a Tory who would deliver Brexit. Brexit means Brexit Phillip Lee, remember which party leader said that?pic.twitter.com/HGnRFRhQnW
