You mean the Remain voters conned by Project Fear? Yep, it’s a worry.

Make the case for leaving Julia. We can all resort to labels. Not smart.

I never heard ONE person say that during the campaign, or since. Probably because it is complete nonsense. Of course the EU plays a big role in our lives.. allowing frictionless trade, protecting our rights that the hard-right ERG lot want to take away, I could go on.
-
The EU does play a big part in our lives but not a good one. That is the noose we want to get away from. They are protectionist and incapable of making good trade deals that suit all now they are 28. Much better we make our own trade deals with the world.
-
That, as always, is a matter of opinion. And I do not think either of us two is ever going to convince the other in a month of Sundays :)
-
Whatever you believe surely you can accept the fact Brexit won and now everyone should be working together for a good deal for the UK. UK before EU.
-
In my opinion, this should have happened before any referendum: 1. Trigger A50 (which CAN be reversed) 2. Negotiate a deal with the EU, with the consequences being known to all. 3. Hold the referendum, based on known facts, and not scare stories/false £350m/week for the NHS
-
1 It can’t be reversed the EU court said 2 EU won’t negotiate as long as they think Remainers can reverse any deal 3 The bus never said it would go to the NHS only that it could. Also turned out that figure was too low.
-
As you can see Anthea Remoaners will move the goalposts all over the place to support their cause, but what's even worse is so many of them simply refuse to accept the result of a democratic referendum. Sadly when you reach that situation any form of discussion is a waste of time

They always go on about workers rights, but conveniently forget zero hour contracts took place while in the EU, and Cameron couldn't even get the EU to allow him to get rid or even reduce vat in women's sanitary products!
-
Other EU countries limit or ban zero hour contracts. Stop blaming the EU for things that are nothing to do with them. We're all fed up with that silly little game.
-
You make my point for me! They don't have anything to do with workers rights, but the remoaners always tell us they do! Thank you!

-
Since I am sure you are genuinely interested and fair minded, here is the answer. https://www.tuc.org.uk/sites/default/files/Workers%E2%80%99%20rights%20from%20Europe%20the%20impact%20of%20Brexit%20-%20Michael%20Ford%20QC.pdf …

Obviously he is neither.
-
His timeline suggests he doesn't deal in facts - just moaning about immigrants & retweeting Farage & the Yaxley-Lennon fanboys.
-
You mean the same Farage who now says Brexit will not benefit Britain and that he never said it would despite saying for years that Brexit benefits Britain. You mean he retweets that Farage?
-
Yep, that con man - that's the one.

I have been actively following the debates since before the ref, and I saw no remainer who said the EU had' virtually no role in our lives'. In fact most of the current problems were predicted. You are truly desperate now.
