I don’t want anyone covering their face in public without good reason - whether it’s with a burqa or a balaclava. No requirement in any religion for either to be worn. The cost to the state of having to treat you for head injuries a helmet would have prevented justifies the law intervening. There is no comparable justification for banning Burqas.
