Yes and my husband, who is a legal immigrant, had to show proof of legality when we signed up. I'm not sure why people think immigrants get freebies all willy nilly. Constant hoops to jump through..

Why is legally mandated coverage under the ACA (“Obamacare”) conflated with “public welfare”? Are you intending to say that immigrants who abided by the law of the land will be punished for having done so? Bc that seems to be whatcha said.

Yes. This makes no sense. We use ACA - just because it’s offered, not due to hardship. Saves a dollar here and there with good coverage. Unbelievable.
