He gets away with all of it because he is “president”- all the things he did to get there were basically treasonous. And because of his “win”-he’s protected from what he did. Ffs.

It just gets more and more obvious: We need to see to prevention of another Trump.. We can no longer depend on good faith, good manners, and love of country. We need laws

Candidates must pass a security clearance just like everyone else. They also need a brain MRI to rule out dementia & other detrimental neural anomalies.

He is indeed above the law.
-
Even worse, he knows it.

I'm beginning to think that's why he ran in the first place. The ability to pull off the biggest grift ever without fear of prosecution.

His appointment of Whitaker and Barr was obstruction of justice and the
@GOP aided and abetted it

That's the difference between this car wreck and Watergate. No complicit
@Gop back then. -
Oh, there was a lot of complicity among the GOP right up until they couldn’t rationalize his obstruction of justice. Main difference: they didn’t have a Rupert Murdoch providing air cover. Roger Ailes created Fox News so Watergate wouldn’t happen to a Republican POTUS ever again.

The outcome feels worse than if they had never done any investigation at all. This guy is claiming complete vindication, vowing revenge on those who spoke with the SC and refusing to cooperate with Congress. And GOP is protecting and supporting him.

Election 2020 is fast approaching and even only 4 of the 22 GOP senators for reelection to be replaced by 4 democrat senators will remove Mitch McConnell as the majority leader & be replaced by a democrat; thereafter, rule of law & return to normalcy will prevail, right???

Thanks, I needed that! A moment of despair, but I'm ok now. We gotta keep fighting!

The one big problem is states have Gerry meandered and disenfranchised voters to control state governments and skewed the voting populace. And the Senate is skewed toward conservatives by its very nature. So it will be a fight.

As it ever has been and always will be. Humanity in a vast, unending tug-of-war between darkness and light. We must keep pulling the end of the rope that leads to light.

This DOJ rule of not inducting sitting POTUS needs to be tested

-
*indicting
-
That memo needs to be overwritten. The intent of the letter had nothing to do with a sitting president being above the law, but rather a VP literally taking cash bribes not being fit to take to become the president by the order of succession.
