I still find it bizarre that the guardian ran a piece of a date between two lesbians when it turns out they were both the "self id" type rather than actual homosexuals.

I’m guessing that’s the only type of ‘lesbian’ who’d risk being set up on a date by the Guardian these days.

Answering why they agreed to meet a woman who classed herself as a homosexual woman rather than a hetrosexual or bisexual woman would just be a disaster

Funny, the first time I read about this date, Anna was being called a transphobe for cancelling the second date. Her “date” started it & sure didn’t take up for her...

It would be useful if instead of talking about extremely rare examples you instead talked about much more typical experiences. Otherwise you just look like demagogue. Desistence rates are very very low. Trans people are quite quite happy overall. 1/2

Yet you want to tell them that they made a mistake because they didn’t follow the development course you wanted. Isn’t that rather arrogant on your part to want to force trans kids to conform only to your beliefs? 2/2

Thanks for once again misgendering trans guys. I knew I was trans when I was 3, JDGR. Fearmongering and bigotry like this is a sick obsession.
