    It sounds crass, but hear me out ... Each email I sent last week made sales. I wouldn't have made those sales otherwise. I built that email list using social. It's really important not to rely on social media alone to market your business. Use social to grow your email list.

    If you cannot afford social listening tools, you can set up the basics by learning to use - Tweetdeck (negative filters are your best friend) - Talkwalker - Google alerts You won't capture everything no, but you will have enough to get you started

    This weekend has been all about making the most of beautiful ‘ordinary’ things -an evening walk -coffee with my youngest lads -working in the garden I feel so flipping lucky to have the life I do & I’m determined to savour every moment! How about you? How’s your weekend been?

    Let’s get this info out to as many people as possible.

    Every year I retweet this piece on how to spot drowning. Last year someone replied saying they’d read my RT the previous year and later rescued a kid. TL;DR: drowning kids usually don’t scream or splash about.

    Instagram's response to the horrific racist abuse that happened after the final of the Euros. It's sad that reports that thousands of people took time to create were treated as 'benign', but let's hope that the learning means no one ever has to go through that again.

    Racism is not acceptable and has no place on Instagram. It is important to us that everyone feels safe and comfortable on our platform. We’re getting better at identifying and removing hate speech and racism but we do make mistakes and we need to do more.

    Did you know Instagram Reels are run by a different algorithm from normal posts? Insta wants them seen as much as poss - ideal for growing visibility. Then Stories are ideal for you to build relationships & encourage action. Learn how to do both easily

    I took my daughter to her last ever dance lesson today - she’s been doing 4-5 lessons a week for 14 years. Went to the beach afterwards to take the sting out of it.
