    Oscar contender VOD is 👎! So frustrating when studios window contender VOD releases around the Oscars so viewers are forced to buy if they want to see before the Oscars. Then they’re rentable 1-2 weeks after the Oscars but most of the buzz is gone.

    Brands win small by sponsoring vids. Brands win much, much bigger by integrating into the content they're sponsoring. Dobrik's fans view partner brands as helping their favorite YouTuber + giving gifts to his pals, not just some ad in a video. That's a hugeeee win for brands.

    People don't hate branded content. They hate bad branded content. By his own admission, Dobrik has found a way to make branded content more palatable to his fans.

    While planning my LA > NY move, I haphazardly tweeted asking for help. Absolutely did not expect a mattress company to gift me a bed. Ridiculously kind of . They asked nothing of me, but obviously I'm quite thankful. A sleep pic would be weird, so laugh at me.

    You know what’d be cool for an emerging 🏀 shoe brand? Hire NBA roleplayers who all specialize in the same coveted skill, then market product around that skill. Don’t just sign Aaron Gordon. Sign all the past & present dunk-only guys (and nothing but that, for brand clarity).

    Pretty risk bet for a new brand. Gordon's value is dunking thru in-game highlights & dunk contest appearances. He's likely never gonna be an all-star (13.6 ppg this season). Can you convince a kid to buy a non- all-star's signature shoe? Eh. (Also please call them Air Gordons)
