Guess what, no matter how the NRA backed gun lobby attempts to skew data the fact remains gun control works. In civilised countries like Australia & elsewhere where strict gun control laws exist, kids & parents don't worry about school shootings or anywhere else for that matter.
The Department of Education stated that schools in the U.S. reported an alarming 235 shootings in one year. So NPR launched an investigation & contacted all the schools included in DOE's data... and more than two-thirds of the gun incidents never happened.http://jwatch.us/wvkmKR

Andrew, you need to understand the culture in Australia and America are vastly different. Gun Control (at least the type you have in Australia) will not work. Fact is with our 2nd Amendment we have a culture around guns. /1

Judicial Watch is a group of right wing ambulance chasers! If anyone takes the time to read the NPR report they will discover it's critical of the data reporting and gathering by the U.S. Education Dept. It DOESN'T draw any conclusions on gun violence.
