It has been, and now will remain, the greatest privilege and pleasure of my professional life to serve as a judge on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. I will be forever grateful to the voters of the twelve counties in this district who elected me in 2008, 2014, and again this year!

THERE IS STILL TIME TO GET OUT AND VOTE. Today is the last day you can send in your absentee ballot to ensure it is counted on April 13th. I continue to be humbled and grateful for your support. Today, I ask for your vote.

A few weeks ago I stopped by a shoe shop in Kenosha. I rubbed the head of a mini-shoemaker for good luck! Though small businesses are closed for now, we need to support them in any way we can. In big ways and small ways, let small business owners know you care by lending a hand.

Remember you are still able to vote absentee for the upcoming election. Requesting an absentee ballot is quick, easy, and is the best way to avoid any risk of getting sick. I am wishing you and your families safety and good health.

I am so humbled by the outpouring of support I have received from working families. As I travel throughout the district, voters tell me that they want a court that is accountable to the people of our state; working men and women who are doing their best to support their families.

Judge Joe Donald's public investiture took place yesterday - and we saw history in the making: he is the first African American on our Court of Appeals in Milwaukee. We are all truly blessed to have such a inspirational individual and role model join our court.

Today we honor the brave men and women who have stepped forward to fight for our independence, democracy and freedom. My father was among them, serving with the Navy Seals. We depend on their courage and selfless dedication. We will always be deeply grateful for their service.

I was so inspired by all the amazing activists at the Racine NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner. The night's theme was about getting people to the polls. In 2020 we will need everyone to jump in from the sidelines and get involved.

A hopeful Rosh Hashanah service at Beth Israel Sinai Congregation Sunday evening. Vandals defaced the synagogue with anti-Semitic graffiti. So many attended to show that we are one humanity. We must stand up against hate and champion love. L'shana Tova, a happy new year.

So happy to support the Imagination Library for the United Way of Racine County and the United Way of Kenosha County. Great program that provides books to kids 0-5 yrs old. I am proud to support the United Way - where I was a board member for many years.
