This is a continuation of Draining the Swamp. If individuals cannot be trusted with our nation's security than they should have security clarence revoked as they are separated from our gov't. The top mgmt needs cleaning out so our FBI/CIA can become the jewel once again.
-
He president has an unsecured phone. He gave secrets to Russians in the Oval Office. His administration has been recorded in the White House. The only swamp is the one right in the middle of Pennsylvania Ave.

Stay off the highways in upstate NY that I and my family drive daily. Going 119mph in 65mph speed zone is criminal and you should have your license revoked. You are an idiot.

This whole story is ridiculous. The government grants a security clearance based on what a person needs to know to do their job in support of the government. When you leave your job you no longer have a need to know. I held security clearances most of my professional career.
-
Unless you are an expert with decades of experience who is occasionally called in to serve as an adviser on current national security matters. You know, like Brennan.
-
You can make that argument. I tend to argue that such a policy only leads to more corruption in government as the "experts," lobby for their own influence even when they are ignorant of current situations. Its shameful
-
Sure. You probably also believe in the “deep state.” Whereas I think using people with decades of experience and very specialized knowledge keeps us safer, and stripping them of clearance for petty political payback like a giant baby weakens national security. But you do you.
-
Are you trying to defend and promote John Brennon or are you just hating the President?
-
Neither. I’m refuting your incorrect claim that someone no longer needs security clearance after leaving a job. It’s been common practice for decades. I don’t care about Brennan, per se. I care about the damage to our national security being done by a petty, incompetent buffoon.
-
I don't think our national security will be damaged by Mr. Brennon, or any of the others on the list, not having a clearance. I suspect it could be just the opposite. I don't like some of the petty tweets the President makes. I do like his untiring efforts to help the nation
-
By punishing its most experienced national security personnel because they were critical of him? He’s helping nobody but himself. He said, out loud, he’s doing it to punish those behind the Russia “witch hunt.” Michael Flynn still has clearance and he pleaded guilty to a felony.
