BIG NEWS Guys! I'm heckin' pumped to spill that I've signed with the amazing lit agent ! Together, we’re gonna find my queer graphic memoir a home, work on my queer YA spec-fic manuscript as well as heaps of future writing/art goodness! #LoveOzYA 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
An illustration of my coming out of a computer browser window, sitting on the edge of it as one foot comes out. I am smiling with my eyes closed, tongue out and throwing up devil horns with one hand and peace sign with the other. I am wearing blue jeans, a salmon-red top and a grey cap. I have bright yellow hair with brown shaved sides. The computer window is in shades of purple.

I hope Cate Blanchett wins the Oscar for Tár for the main reason that the time she won Best Actress for that Woody Allen film looked suuuuuper awkward and it’s all I can remember about the whole thing.
Who do we @ when talking about Writers Australia? Want to ensure that comics / graphic narratives aren’t forgotten in the foundation (the ground level might be too late) of this new government literary institution.

Does it occur to Litmags that comics is “the written image” and that they should be supporting/including graphic narratives as well? From the outside it looks like it is all a bit hard. I’m aware of the many of the issues, but I’m convinced they can be solved if we just start.

Currently I’m mentoring a bunch of comics legends through Island Magazine’s Nanna Project and I saw some other mentoring programs through Litmags across Aus open up with lots of writer/poet/word mentors but no comics. When island’s program ends, will it all be over?

I didn't realise I had drawn all my double page splashes at the wrong dpi until the very end of my book. Was dreading it but going in and adding in all this extra detail ended up being a really nice way to finish off the project. Anyway, here's 2/4 of the double pages :)

Did you know: phimosis (tight foreskin that can’t retract past the glans) is super common and natural! And if you want to change it up and stretch it out (literally) then clue into this funky comic to know how 🥰💖

When you’re an artist for a long while who does wildly different things you tend to get mildly known in each of the different categories of things you do. But the audience in each area is unaware of the other things: bad practice for the algorithm & good practice for the ♥️
