I'll believe it when I see it. Garland won't be moved. He's maintaining a "hands off" approach to anything related to tfg with the "restoring the integrity of DOJ" as his cover. He's actually continuing to harm that integrity, Biden, & the commission.

I could be wrong but restoring integrity to the DOJ at the expense of democracy won't look so good in hindsight.

Isn't the authority of Congress to investigate an implied constitutional power? Albeit one that Congress has exercised since the earliest days of the republic. But couldn't this SCOTUS, if asked to decide, declare that no such power exists?
