Too many families of color have to give their children this advice. Changing this & ending explicit & implicit bias in law enforcement & across the criminal justice is one of the key civil rights challenges we face.

I have a suspicion that many PDs across the country have been infiltrated by White Supremacists. Involvement in those groups should be disqualifying for anyone involved in law enforcement as should any racist behavior.
