I suspect a lot of young voters don’t remember when the lack of coverage for preexisting conditions was a major worry. I hope we never go back.

Only a decade ago insurance companies could drop your coverage for failing to report you had acne as a teen and people with preexisting conditions were tied to their employers because they were otherwise uninsurable. How quickly we forget.

I have done case management for 30 years, I guess people don't remember after Hospice would leave and they would bury their loved ones, they would file for bankruptcy!

Great point...my kids are about 2 years short of the 26 year rule, and I can guarantee they’ve not been exposed to finding own coverage .... been a good ACA program while in college full time
