    Yes. It would. But if he is somehow convinced that it’s not worth the fight to try and pardon himself, because it wouldn’t survive a trip to the SCOTUS and William Barr is too busy job-hunting to help out, wouldn’t surprise me if they went for it.

    So, um, if President Trump resigns so that Vice President Pence assumes the office and then pardons Trump.....wouldn't that be an admission of guilt by Trump?

    Marco Rubio, while not known for his courage, is really good at self-promotion. And since the new hotness in Republicanism is to be a mini-Trump, that's exactly who he will be. (Note that he has previously portrayed both a mini-Jeb! and a tea partier. Whatever works!)

    Wait, what?

    Congressman Mike Kelly has asked a PA judge to block certification of his own election. Even after this lawsuit is dismissed, the US House should refer his credentials to the Admin Committee prior to seating. If he doesn't think he should be certified, the House should take note.
