Candidly @JoyAnnReid, you're spinning this too. You said earlier that Democrats got CHIP funding. That was part of the CR on Friday. They didn't need to shut down the government, or come out of a shut down for CHIP. They had CHIP on Friday.

It's hard to spin for the Democrats when they capitulated and gave up all their leverage, at the moment the people were behind them. Now, they have to explain why they caved in on a promise from a bunch of untrustworthy liars.
