True. And us first generation children of immigrants more often hold to the American ideal. I think the further you get from "the boat," the more diluted it becomes.

Absolutely agree. In another tweet I noted that natulized citizens know more about civics and history that born citizens. Reason? They have required reading. Maybe, anyone seeking a drivers license should have the same required reading, over and above driving manual
