Dear staff. It’s ok to feel angry, upset, scared, exhausted. You don’t have to feel heroic. You’re human. You can feel furious, like sobbing, fine, terrified, anything else in between. You can feel all that in the five minutes before your shift. We’ll care for you too. ❤️

😷If you come to you will be asked to wear a mask: pls arrive prepared 😷Be patient when we ask you why if you are not wearing one: we are trying to help you. 😷It is not acceptable to shout or abuse any of our staff any time, but even less so now

Be kind and ask then ask again plainly and simply “are you thinking about suicide?” The bottom of the pit is so very very dark but even the tiniest flicker of light can help see a way back into livable life. I’ve been to the bottom of that pit, you are not alone
