There should be an alternative way to progress. Qualifying for 8 top 8s (at most) should be more than enough.

Zetalot being on that list seems like it ought to be yet another indictment of the system. He's basically the poster child for it.

He only played 25 cups to be fair. I mean I think that should be enough, but since they designed it in a way that has no reward for consistency, 25 is going to be very unreliable even though that could be 100s of hours.
