Keep socialism simple: common ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange in a working class led state—that’s something the *whole* working class supports. When people use the movement to advance cultural/non-materialist/reactionary issues it clouds things.
We are hearing all sorts of things ‘city/town divide’, ‘old/young’, ‘socially conservative/liberal’ and confused notions of race and such things. All of this is background noise. What matters first and foremost is the class divide, it’s about class. Not immaterial things.
I say keep it objective, keep it focused, keep it simple. There’s no fancy trick or combination of distinctions that will win. It’s merely about ceaseless class struggle along socialist lines for the working class. No other struggle can defeat the bourgeoisie and end capitalism.

You need to relate the theory to the lived experience of the country. What does this mean for a Nurse. They get to decide, democratically the leadership and direction of the NHS. What does this mean for a factory worker? Sharing the profit equally between staff, not sharehodlers

Is that the phrasing for the doorstep? Feels very obscure. How about: Together & equally we the people should own and provide a foundation for all of education, homes for life, industry, transportation and healthcare. This can't be secured by the cutthroat business of the market.
