Campgrounds in the park will be closed effective noon Wednesday, January 2nd. The park is being forced to take this action for health and safety concerns as vault toilets reach capacity. Indian Cove and Black Rock campgrounds will be open for day-use only, sunrise to sunset.

Lost Horse Mine Road is closed due to illegal activity. Rattlesnake Canyon is closed to reduce the number of searches and rescues. During the federal government shutdown, we will not monitor social media. There are no NPS-provided services.

Please close the entire park until the #TrumpShutdown ends. This is willful destruction of a public resource due to the neglect of the government, is costing taxpayers, and harming the environment.
