If you want to be an entrepreneur, realize that you either need to do one of the following - Come from money - Be a highly paid person prior - Have the experiences on your resume that make it easier for you to raise capital

For those who don’t believe this is true..coming from money doesn’t have to be millions it can be as little as $5K..it means coming from a background that your parents can give you money to start

Raising money does not equal VC..it means being able to acquire capital that allows you to build or scale a biz and that also includes loans from banks, lines of credit etc

You may need to redefine what you mean by entrepreneur. I suspect I mean the valley and business media's narrow definition (in which case, yep, the data supports this), there are a lot of entrepreneurs beyond that narrow construct. So yeah, nope.

Can't say I agree with you on this boss. Started my first business my junior year of college and I was broke as a joke... I turned $42 into $30,000 in 3 months.

Right, what I’m saying above is that is generally how entrepreneurship has come to be in the U.S..not that without that it’s not possible
