What happens if they open a new investigation (based on new or additional info we have since learned)? They can subpoena him again. Either he comes clean or lies again -with no pardon for new set of lies.

If he lies, he can be prosecuted. One can't be pardoned for future crimes. I hope Congress compels Flynn to testify, leading to legislation for an independent, permanent prosecutor for executive branch malfeasance, crimes by presidential staff, offenses during transition, etc.

I thought Gleason's brief was much more damning for DOJ than for Flynn. Does Sullivan have to just let the DOJ apparent "corruption" (as Gleason said) slide now Flynn is pardoned?

I think it’s possible that a legal challenge can be made that the pardon was illegal in that it was done as part of a criminal conspiracy.
