Better statement: "Kaitlyn had an impossible job, whiffed on some major points where she failed to follow up (namely infanticide) and tried to wrangle Trump, often without success. She allowed a victim of sexual assault to be disparaged and mocked by Trump and an unruly crowd.…Show more
NEW: CNN statement on @kaitlancollins following #TrumpTownHall: “Tonight Kaitlan Collins exemplified what it means to be a world-class journalist. She asked tough, fair and revealing questions. And she followed up and fact-checked President Trump in real time …”
"You do not have to like the former president's answers, but you can't say that we didn't get them," Licht tells staffers, many of whom are angry about the town hall. "Kaitlan pressed him again and again and made news. Made a LOT of news." And "that is our job."
I do condemn the rocket attacks against Israel coming from Gaza. I also reconfirm here my disgust at the Israeli military's recent demolition of a Palestinian schoolhouse. Maybe when fools like you grow the fuck up, and reach for nuance, there will be some hope for peace.
Hey @JoshMalina. I noticed that despite your busy schedule you took the time to condemn the Israeli government’s legal demolition action. Perhaps you would consider condemning the illegal and immoral attack on Israeli civilians being launched today by our neighbors to the South.
"The solution to the Israel-Gaza crisis, and, indeed, to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, should be pursued and reached through diplomacy rather than through violence."

I’m aware they refuse virtually all building permits, but to claim it’s a means of “creeping annexation” is conjecture. Per Oslo, intent was to transfer Area C to PA. But PA refused every final status proposal. Seems more likely that permit refusal is bc there is no final status
And I assume that you're aware that the Israeli government refuses virtually all building permits in Area C as a means of creeping annexation of Palestinian territory.
Josh, I’m sure you’re aware that that schoolhouse was built illegally? And that Israel also routinely demolishes structures illegally built by Israelis as well

Aside from being unpermitted, the school was deemed to be unsafe and the demolition was ordered by the Israeli courts. The same courts that are being vociferously defended by the Israeli left that you have championed. I guess there is enough disgrace to go around.
I just saw Tom Stoppard’s “Leopoldstadt” on Broadway, with a stellar cast including @JoshMalina.
A remarkable story, beautifully acted and staged. Enthusiastically recommended.
The Israeli military demolished an un-permitted Palestinian schoolhouse in an area where it's essentially impossible for Palestinians to get a construction permit. What a disgrace.
